Adding a Department

In the FleetManager a Department is needed before adding Units.

Departments serve as a means to make subgroups of Units for a given Customer record.

 

In order to complete this you will need the following:

  1. Access through a web browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) to the FleetManager Provisioning Tool.
  2. Have already entered a Customer into the FleetManager.
  • To access the page to add a Department along the top navigation go to Departments then Add Department.

  • The table shows all the Departments that have already been added to the FleetManager.

  • The form below is used to add a new Department.

    Customer Name – This is a dropdown to select what Customer the new Department will be assigned to. 

    Note: You will need to have already added a Customer before you can add a Department.

    Department Name – This will be the name of the new Department.

    Once everything is added click the Add button.

With the Department successfully added Units can be assigned to it from the Add Unit or Edit Unit pages.
